Jayden Scott

A country boy at heart with even bigger country life values, you might be surprised to learn that Jayden is not originally from Geelong but was born and bred on a cropping farm in the Western District of Victoria.  Whilst he didn’t mind working on the farm, he always knew that his future was destined for other plans.

Jayden found an interest in the world of personal finance and was particularly interested in how people could grow their wealth by making good financial decisions during their working life.  Jayden could see the impact sound financial advice had on people by encouraging them to make smart decisions, optimise their finances and achieve their life goals effectively.

This interest led Jayden to move down to Geelong to study a Bachelor of Commerce at Deakin University.  Since then Jayden has formed a lot of friendships and soon called Geelong home.  During his years studying and gaining work experience, Jayden says that:

“He can see how much value a good financial adviser can add to a person’s life.”

This motivation is what made him eager to begin working in the financial planning industry as soon as possible.  He landed at Canny Group a week after graduation and quickly began his career within the team at Canny Advisory as our Client Services Officer.  Jayden has since gained valuable experience in the administration side of financial planning and is now in the process of completing his Professional Year program to make a smooth transition to becoming a Financial Adviser.

Outside of the office, Jayden will often be found at the gym or even doing a Pilates class.  On the weekends, he enjoys playing local football and spending time with his family and friends.
