Danny’s natural ability in mathematics led him to pursue a career in Accounting.  Starting a University degree at Deakin University, Danny started a casual summer job at the Torquay Hotel.  Many years later, Danny was still working in the hotel industry as a Hotel Manager, but with young children, decided it was time to complete his degree and became an accountant.

Danny spent his first year working as an accountant in Melbourne before landing a job with a local accounting firm closer to home in Geelong.  During his time there, Danny completed a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting, which is not easy when working a full-time job and with young children.  After almost seven years there, Danny joined our team at Canny Group in March 2013 and hasn’t looked back!

Since starting with Canny Group, Danny has had exposure to a very diverse range of business and individual clients and has grown very strong connections with clients along the way.  One of Danny’s greatest attributes is being able to communicate well with our clients.

Danny loves spending time outdoors, whether it is riding his dirt bike through the bush with his kids, family camping trips over summer in Marengo and weekends watching his kids play sports.  Another great love of Danny’s is the Richmond Football Club.
