Christine Friel

As an addition to our growing NDIS Plan Management service arm, which is now a growing team, Christine has over 30 years of varied experience in the office setting with varied roles. Working in various industries such as engineering and manufacturing to health insurance and now finding her home with Canny Group as Canny Plan Management’s Assistant to our NDIS Plan Management team.

Christine’s role requires her to have a very keen eye for detail, accuracy and common sense, which even though sounds simple enough, can be quite challenging within the role that we play, supporting our NDIS Plan Management Participants.  An accounts payable role of paying invoices for our NDIS Participants in meeting our delivery requirements and punctuality, which are second to none and we pride ourselves on achieving on a daily basis.

A vital part of Christine’s role is to continually reference the ever-evolving NDIS website for their legislation and other guidelines to ensure that our NDIS Plan Management team is keeping up to date with all the changes in the NDIS sector.  A fundamental part of the role she takes on, and high on Christine’s priority list is, is keeping up to date with the National Disability Insurance Scheme Pricing Arrangement and Price Limits to ensure that we are keeping up to date for our NDIS Participants.  Christine’s role is ensuring that NDIS Provider invoices comply with the NDIS Price Guide using the most appropriate support items for claiming supports delivered to our NDIS Participants and within the maximum price charged, giving them the best value for money.

Keeping fit and being outside in her garden is where you will find Christine when she isn’t helping our NDIS Participants reach and achieve their goals.  On her return home each day from the office she looks forward to being greeted in her driveway by her cat “Daddy”, who has seen Christine arrive through the lounge room window and bolts to come out to greet her, ready for attention, pats, hugs and squeezes.
