Vickie Walsh

Vickie grew up in Geelong with her parents and four siblings.  Meeting her husband at only 16 years of age, she moved into their first home in North Geelong at the age of 22.  With both Vickie and her husband sharing a love for animals and farming, they purchased their first acreage at Lovely Banks in 2003, where their three children were born.  In 2017, they finally found their paradise, which is a 100-acre farm in Gheringhap.

In 2003, Vickie and her husband established their own excavation business, which Vickie spent 19 years managing, together with raising her children.  Vickie completed all the bookwork and administration for the family business, which is where her passion for bookkeeping began.

After dedicating 19 years to her husband and family, Vickie made the decision to return to the workforce, transferring her many skills and expertise to her current legal administration assistant role.  Since beginning at Canny Legal, Vickie has broadened her horizons and assists in all Wills and Estates matters.  Vickie understands that individuals can be going through one of the most difficult and emotional times of their lives losing a loved one.  Vickie aims to approach every situation with kindness and respect.

Vickie has a passion for bookkeeping, and is empathetic and understanding to all of our clients but also understands the importance of running a business.  For this reason, Vickie can manage all aspects of client relationships in a respectful and compassionate manner.  Vickie never shies away from a challenge, with no task being too difficult.  When Vickie is involved, our clients always have a positive experience.

While Vickie enjoys every minute of her working career, she always enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three children going on adventures and making memories in their caravan.  Vickie and her family are also avid horse lovers, regularly attending pony club and enjoying time together on their property.  Vickie also dedicates many hours to her daughter’s passion for dancing and her son’s basketball and football.  Vickie is also a keen and passionate Melbourne Storm supporter, attending all games at AAMI Park with her family.  Go Storm!
